By Bevel
Square Edge
The square edges on Versailles floor give the floor a flush, even appearance, enhancing the floor's uniformity and modern appeal. These precisely cut edges create clean lines between each board, adding a sense of sophistication to any space while maintaining a polished and modern aesthetic.
Micro-bevel
Providing subtle texture and depth that accentuates the personality of each board while maintaining a smooth surface. This style is difficult to notice, but its purpose is to hide any subtle height differences from the manufacturing process.
Medium-bevel
These slightly larger grooves along the edges enhance the individuality of each board, adding visual interest and dimension to the flooring, which is the same size as Microbevel but with a rounded profile.
Full-bevel
Featuring pronounced grooves, it creates a bold and rustic look that is reminiscent of traditional craftsmanship. A standard beveled edge has a deeper cut than a micro beveled edge. The bevel measures approximately 1/8 inch or less.
By Installation loss
To calculate the loss of flooring material when using Versailles parquet flooring in an area of 80 square meters, you need to first convert the size of each floor tile from millimeters to square meters, then determine how many tiles are needed to cover the area, and finally subtract the total area covered by the tiles from the actual area to find the loss.
The room size is 8000mm*10000mm=80㎡
The size of each floor is 600mm*600mm
- Calculate the number of floors needed:
- Length: 8000/600=14
- Width: 10000/600=17
- Calculate the loss:
- Required floor =14*17*0.6*0.6=85.68㎡
- The loss is 5%-8%
